Algeria restored full flight operations at Hassi-Messaoud Airport in Ouargla following approval of its rehabilitated main runway, according to reporting published on 27 October 2026. Air Algérie established a schedule of 36 weekly flights from 25 October, connecting the airport with Algiers, Oran and In-Amenas. The runway rehabilitation contract value was not disclosed.
